What our pieces are made of, said plainly — and how to keep them looking the way they did in the box.
What our jewellery is made of
Silvique rings are 925 sterling silver, plated in rose gold or rhodium. We say "925 sterling silver" in full on every product page, and here.
The stones are CZ (cubic zirconia), set in pavé around the band or the centre stone. Ruby-red and other coloured centre stones are CZ too. They are not diamonds or precious stones, and we will never describe them that way.
How to care for it
A little care keeps the plating and the stones bright:
- Put your ring on last, after perfume and moisturiser.
- Keep it away from water: take it off before you wash your hands, shower or swim.
- Polish it gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing.
- Store it in the pouch it came in, away from other jewellery so the stones do not scratch.
About the plating
Rose-gold and rhodium plating sit on the surface of the silver. Plating colour can soften with wear over time; keeping the ring away from perfume and water helps it last.
